Project Description

My group had been taken to a town named ‘Tirupathi’ in the Chitoor district of India. Tirupathi has a very famous temple, also this particular town had excellent craftsmen for woodcarving. These craftsmen made many regular products (limited to doors or panels) using motifs inspired from the god in Tirupathi temple. I further chose those motifs, developed my own pattern for a modernized product which can be used as a coaster and paperweight.
